The Market Is A Gold Mine!
If you want to buy an item that you need, or you found something that you think could be worth a lot, do not just buy it or sell it to someone right away if you think you are getting a good price. When you do that without checking the market prices you are bound to lose money by either buying something that is overpriced or selling your items way under value. Always check the market, see offers and prices for that item in different places and make sure you are getting the most mesos out of the deal as possible, by either saving mesos when you buy or making mesos when you sell.
Farming Monster Drops
Depending on what level you are, you may need mesos for a certain item that you need, such as equipment or something else that you want. One way I found to getting a ton of mesos is farming certain monsters that you can easily beat and that drop good items that a lot of people want. The best thing to do is as you go along doing quests note down which quests require certain items that you can find on the market, and when you actually do the quests see how easily you can find those items from monster drops and keep that in mind. What you can do now is farm those monsters over and over and over again collecting the quest item drop, plus getting experience, plus getting other items and maple story mesos that they drop. After you do this a ton of items and get tired of it you will find yourself with hundreds of that certain quest item, now head over to the market and sell those items! Note: Before you actually do this, make sure that the items you farm are actually worth a good amount, or if they are not worth as much as you were hoping for maybe the drop rate is really good so instead of getting an item every 20 monster kills that is worth 10k mesos, you can get an item worth 5k but that drops every 8 monster kills, in the long run you'll be making a ton more!
